eOffice Community: Meet Pocket App

The eOffice community is a buzzing cluster of variety in type and size startups, entrepreneurs and growing companies. Predominantly with operations within media and technology, the companies residing at our coworking spaces in Central London are all working on exciting new projects and initiatives, expanding their presence on the UK and International markets.
Joining us two months ago was Pocket App, a lovely, dynamic team dedicated to the development of innovative applications for a number of recognized clients. They were quick to adapt to the shared, open plan environment as well as meet and get familiar with the other growing companies in the space. We had a chat with Marijke Drost, part of the Pocket App team, who was happy to share a few insights about their exciting company.

eOffice: What does Pocket App do?

Marijke: Pocket App Ltd is a company dedicated to producing innovative applications for mobile devices including iPhone, Android and Windows.  We are a young, friendly, dynamic and experienced team of experts in mobile technology. Pocket App operates in Europe, Asia and the USA, with offices in London, Riyadh and Mumbai.

eOffice: What was your latest exciting project?

Marijke: One of our latest exciting projects was My Poppy in association with The Sun. This app was developed in very little time. It took 2-3 weeks from initial contact to the live app. People could download the app and support the Poppy Appeal, they could donate to the Royal British Legion’s Poppy Appeal. Also the app linked with Facebook and Twitter.

eOffice: What do you like about eOffice?

Marijke: eOffice is a space where you feel welcome, it is light and there is a good atmosphere. The staff at eOffice is flexible and helpful. We meet interesting people at eOffice and it is a great space to have meetings.
