Harley Davidson Office – Gurgaon, India

Harley Davidson announced in November 2010 that is would be expanding its operations into India. Its iconic motor cycles are to be fabricated in the USA, and assembled in India for the Indian market. In order to manage their Indian operations they located their office headquarters Gurgaon which is one of India’s largest industrial and financial centers.
The architects behind the office space were Morphogenesis. They used everything from the Harley Davidson colours, full motorcycles and even Harley parts to infuse the office with the iconic Harley Davidson brand. Nevertheless, as with most good design projects, some thought was given to reflect local designs and flavours. This can be seen through the use of the  ‘jaalis’ for example, which is an ornate perforated screen.
