As many of you may have heard AOL has recently made some aggressive business decisions in an attempt to re-establish itself as a dominant player in the internet arena. More specifically, they have done so with the acquisition of various successful internet companies, chief among which are companies such as TechCrunch, Huffington Post and Thing Labs. Perhaps linked to this renewed business invigoration is AOL’s decision to move their West Coast HQ to Palo Alto. The new AOL Palo Alto office space was design by Studio O+A, their aim being to give the company a fresh new office space that is vibrant and energetic. In order to achieve this aim they included a somewhat eclectic, yet wonderful, amalgamation of design features. The architects therefore incorporated various colour and material combinations to great effect, and perhaps this new office space in Palo Alto will give the company the exact fresh lease on life it needs?
