The success of prominent female leaders is bringing more attention to women in the entrepreneurial environment. Women today are not only leading, but also launching startups in any type of industry ranging from fashion and ecommerce to careers and social networks. These movers and shakers are changing the face of business.
Bringing together female entrepreneurs from Silicon Valley, Latin America, Africa and Europe, The Second Annual San Francisco International Women Entrepreneurs Forum will take place this upcoming 26th and 27th May in Canary Island across various locations in Las Palmas.
This tricontinental event is organised by the San Francisco International Women Entrepreneurs Forum (SFIWEF) to share women’s experiences and ideas, creating an ecosystem of visibility and unity for projects, businesses and start-ups launched and/or managed by women.
The event features high-profile speakers, leaders in their respective fields, who will share their knowledge in panel discussions, workshops, and intensive sessions, to provide all the tools that entrepreneurs may need to run their businesses successfully. Among the sponsors of this event are the Cabildo of Gran Canaria (Gran Canaria local government), the SPEGC (Society for Economic Promotion of Gran Canaria), ICEX (The Spanish Institute for Foreign Trade) and ZEC (Special Economic Zone Consortium). The event will be held in Spanish and English and is FREE to attend!
