Provinciehuis Friesland County Offices – Netherlands

Oth Architecten has designed the government building for Friesland Province, which is located in Leeuwarden. In the design for the new provincial government building in the center of Leeuwarden a new building was necessary because the current one was too small and did not meet the contemporary requirements. The office rooms have been replaced by an open working landscape, where anyone looking for a workplace chooses the one that fits the work. Across the working landscapes there are workspaces with higher walls and concentration cells to find more privacy.
