The High Line Park – New York
The High Line Park in New York City is an urban park with a twist. This is because the 1-mile long park is in fact built on a 1.45-mile section of the unused and elevated freight railroad track called the West Side Line.
The park/line runs along the entire lower west side of Manhattan and is a welcome contrast to the urban landscape. Having been to this park myself recently I can vouch for its beauty, I love how it has given the surrounding parts of New York City a much needed breath of fresh air. It’s therefore no surprise that the High Line Park in New York has become one of the city’s top attractions, if you’re heading round those parts it’s not to be missed!
