Rosa’s is a modern Thai restaurant in the heart of London’s Soho district. It comes following the huge success of the same restaurant in Spitafields in the East End of London. The Soho location was designed by Gundry & Ducker a London based firm, who aimed to create a restaurant which mimicked the style of food being served. It therefore went for an elegant yet homey atmosphere, achieved through the use of varying textures and types of wood.
The ceilings are comprisecd of gloss pink panels in a brick pattern, while the mouldings are made from modified oak and ogee-curved.
Downstairs the designers maintained the same theme, but this time in black gloss and reclaimed grey teak.
The great thing is that this place is a 10 minute walk from the eOffice Broadwick Street location, so I’m definitely checking them out for some lunch! You can also find more information on Rosa’s website, and if anyone goes before me what’s the food like?
