The Coworking Europe Conference 2018 is a week away and we thought to share our review of the last edition.
We were thrilled to be part of the 8th year of the Europe Coworking Conference, held this year in the friendly city of Dublin. Once again, they feature and strengthen the rise of Coworking by gathering 500 attendees from all around Europe, North America and beyond. Since 2011, the event has been organised in 7 big cities across Europe: Berlin, Paris, Barcelona, Lisbon, Milan, Brussels, and Dublin.
The Coworking Trend
Coworking is a concept, a new way of working, and a lifestyle of sharing. Professionals, nomads, small companies, and entrepreneurs come together and work side by side on their own projects. Their goal is to be a part of an open and collaborative community where they can grow new interpersonal relationships instead of working alone from home or a noisy coffee shop.
The coworking lifestyle is becoming more and more popular and the number of spaces worldwide is doubling every year.
Coworking Europe
The Annual Coworking Europe Conference is featuring this rise of the concept by gathering coworking enthusiasts in different cities across Europe. According to them; “coworking paves the way for tectonic changes in our modern economies.”
We were happy to be a part of this year’s conference in Croke Park in Dublin, and experience how a big group, including coworking space operators, facility managers, real estate pundits, and even city councils representatives, public development agencies, universities, and startup incubators, all came together to share their thoughts and knowledge with each other. It was also nice to catch up with some of our partners from Portugal and Belgium.
During this year’s conference, the usual coworking space tour was self-guided. We enjoyed visiting inspiring spaces such as The Tara Building, Element78, Glandore and Iconic Offices.
