This is the exhibit for the 2013 Interior Design Show of dubbeldam architecture + design, a Toronto based Canadian architectural firm. The exhibit is called the ‘pop-up office’, a modular cubicle system comprised of discarded shipping palettes. The design is not only eco-friendly, but also versatile, as the shipping palettes can be rearranged according to the needs of the specific user.
Broadly divided by the concepts ‘focus’, ‘collaborate’, ‘lounge’ and ‘refuel’ the project’s aim was to create a working environment for a global culture, defined by dynamism and mobility; it’s only requirements a work surface and a place to plug in.
