Exploring the Internet of Things :: IoT Tech Expo Global Conference 2017
During this cold winter season, thousands of people gathered to attend a unique event in London covering the entire Internet of Things (IoT) ecosystem. This annual show is hosted by IoT Tech Expo, the leading IoT event series which covers the entire community across 7 dedicated conference tracks. This year’s edition took place between January 23rd and 24th at Olympia London.
What can you find on the IoT Tech Expo Global agenda?
Over these two days, 6000 attendees were provided with top-level content, discussions and great networking opportunities. This year, the conference highlighted the most innovative advancements in technologies that are affecting the entire IoT system today. Also, the entire spectrum of Internet of Things was covered, such as connected industries, smart cities, connected services, IoT innovations, data & security, developing for the IoT, and connected Living.
Speakers and Exhibitors
At the event, there were more than 200 senior level speakers sharing their insight and knowledge through real-life case studies and IoT experiences, all from industries including manufacturing, logistics, government, automotive, energy, health, transportation, insurance, security, and retail. After each presentation, people were given the opportunity to ask questions and receive advice.
Great Networking Opportunities
For professionals interested in networking, IoT was certainly the right place to be. During the event, attendees were actively interacting and networking with the top players in the IT industry and experts from over 100 companies exhibiting products, their latest technologies and innovations.
In addition to an extraordinary networking evening this past Monday, January 23rd there were competitions and a live hackathon that allowed developers and designers to collaborate and get early access to new development platforms, where they could create solutions and concepts for the IoT.
