SoundCloud, New York City Office

SoundCloud is an online audio distribution platform based in Berlin, Germany that enables its users to upload, record, promote and share their originally-created sounds. In July 2013, it had 40 million registered users and 200 million listeners. The company’s New York City offices  were recently completed by the design firm Design Blitz. The company HQ is in Berlin, but the New York office was added as having an office in NYC’s buzzing Silicon Alley offers the company a foothold in the both the thriving tech and media scenes in New York. 

While SoundCloud is an international company, it was also important for the office design to feel of its place. Brick walls were exposed to reveal the building’s old-school New York charm, which is complimented by speakeasy-style furniture.
