BNP Paribas has created its new office space in Paris, essentially the first ever concept bank design in the city. We would even venture a guess that this office space in Paris sets a precedent for Bank design worldwide! It was designed by Architect Fabrice Ausset, the Paris based architect of the architectural firm Zoevox.
The concept bank is located in a historical building, yet it’s full of funky and stylish colours and furniture –things not really synonymous with the word bank! Despite the clear modern design focus, there are still some retro hints to be seen throughout, such as the honeycombed ceilings and the large mirrors.
We think the design is impeccable, striking the perfect balance between seriousness and respectability – features one would expect from a bank – and vibrant design. This concept is in line with the recent trend of banks wanting to renew their image, as can also be seen in an earlier story we covered on CheBanca! In Milan.
