The network of Open Society Foundations (OSF), formerly the Open Society Institute (OSI) until 2011, is a grant making operation founded by George Soros, aimed to shape public policy to promote democratic governance, human rights, and economic, legal, and social reform. On a local level, the OSF implements a range of initiatives to support the rule of law, education, public health, and independent media. Their offices are located in the heart of New York City’s Midtown, designed and renovated by Tirmizi Campbell. We especially love the roof top garden, which with the development of projects like the High Line in New York, has been massively on trend in the last couple of years – and rightly so!
A full core & shell renovation and interior fit-out of the landmark Argonaut Building, in the heart of Midtown. Scope includes a new conference centre with gallery, 8 full floors of office space, and a rooftop cafeteria with terraces. Project is certified LEED Gold.
