Konami Corporation is a Japanese developer and publisher of numerous toys, trading cards, slot machines, and video games. They even operate health and physical fitness clubs in Japan. Konami is the fifth-largest gaming company in the world by revenue, famous for popular video game series such as Dance Dance Revolution, Metal Gear and Pro Evolution Soccer.
The company wanted to relocate its HQ from Germany to UK, with the new office opened in April 2013. Konami says its new European office in Windsor will help it prepare for changes in the games market. The space is actually based near publisher rivals 2K and Nintendo.
The UK office has also moved to the same location, with the team now overseeing South Africa, Nordic and Australia, as well as the UK. Former UK boss Pete Stone is now branch manager for Northern Europe. The firm’s PES, Castlevania and European digital team will also move into the new offices.
