Gazprom is the largest extractor of natural gas in the world and the largest Russian company. Gazprom recently opened a London office in Regents Place. As one would expect, the offices are very well designed. The office is 90,000 sq ft large and houses 600 employees.
According to IOR the architects behind this office place:
An in-depth understanding of what Gazprom needed was the foundation for our design for the company’s HQ. Bringing together five sites under one roof created a ‘Gazprom village’ which vividly expresses its culture and aspiration. The design provides spaces with intelligent flexibility without compromising business efficiency or quality of finish.
The offices are also very flexible in that the executive meeting space also turns into a party space. This was achieved via a combination of folding furniture, folding walls and glass skywall providing a truly multi-functional space with a unique solution as seen in the video below.
