Comic Relief recently briefed Interiors Group with the refurbishment of their 24,000 sqft London office space. The aim was to produce a simple design on a tight budget. According to the designers, in order to encourage better internal communication and teamwork a central hub was created and a new staircase was constructed to link the floors together.
To give the appearance of more space, the work also included the removal of the existing suspended ceiling and the installation of new exposed services along with the restoration of existing features such as the lifts. With clever use of space and carefully designed furniture and finishes complimented by the Comic Relief design and colour palette the final result delivered a flexible, practical and cleanly designed working environment.
