The well known architects Gensler have recently designed a sustainably-built skyscraper, soon to become the tallest tower in China. The Shanghai Tower will be 632 meters, it will be one of the newest super-tall editions to the sprawling Luijiazui Finance and Trade Zone. Hopefully this will turn into a green trend for Asia, something which is desperately needed!
The skyscraper will feature a high-performance façade that shelters no fewer than nine sky gardens, a rainwater recycling system, and a series of wind turbines perched beneath its parapet.
