This office is one of the odder spaces featured on this blog. Designed by the Architects Kotaro Horiuchi, the office aims to be a productive work space covered entirely in plastic. The office is called Membrane in Stratum, and each area is zoned out by clear plastic sheets. The aim was to create a functional separation of spaces without the use of walls, which can take up a lot of space.
Work environments are adaptable on the fly in this type of space, and unlimited in composition by simple tables.

I like the idea and it’s certainly good for cleaning but it’s a bit too sterile for a working environment. It seems more like an art installation than a working office space.
