Pitch was founded by Rob Markwell and Ollie Purdom in 2007 as a specialist recruitment consultancy within the Marketing, PR and Creative sectors. Pitch are one of eOffice’s older clients enjoying the luxuries of a co-woriking environment at eOffice Birmingham for over 2 years, since 2008.

Having recruited into the industry for a number of years our vision was to create a different type of consultancy, one that breaks away from the traditional high volume, low quality approach often adopted by other recruiters. And one that is genuinely focussed on investing back into the industry we work in. That’s why we’ve established close partnerships with industry bodies such as the CIPR (www.cipr.co.uk), and why we set up our not-for-profit initiative “B-Hive” which aims to identify and reward the best emerging student talent with paid work placements in some of the UK’s leading PR, Digital, Advertising and Marketing teams (more info at www.bhive-creative.com).

We’re serious about what we do but we try not to take ourselves too seriously. That said, it’s nice to be recognised for what we’re doing so we’d be lying if we said we weren’t chuffed to be Highly Commended in the Recruitment Business Awards for best Sales & Marketing Recruitment Agency, or the award Ollie got for Birmingham Young Professional of the Year in the Recruitment & Training category.
