This office is the space of KB1909 SPA, a prestigious financial holding company. The office was recently refurbished and created out of the communal parts of a 19th century building, the aim behind the redesign being to infuse the architecture of the space with the company’s principles and ambitions. The use of neon green gives the space a dramatic feel of energy and dynamism, yet it avoids being overly gregarious by keeping the rest of the office pure white and sleek. Personally I think the office is too empty and looks isolating and perhaps cold, however this may be because none of the shelving units are used nor are the desks occupied at this point.
Minimum placement of light sources and simple geometric elements, bear witness to the sober style of the company, and accompany the visitor in its vertical ascent from the street to the offices.
