Instacube – our new gadget at eOffice

Instacube, the new hot gadget from Kickstarter, successfully finished its round of funding and made it to one of its first supporters – eOffice. This stylish and compact device offers live streaming from everything you find interesting from the social media platform – Instagram. Whether it is you own profile, a certain hashtag or someone else’s that you follow, the device is a clever, portable alternative to digital frames or computer screen-savers.

Instacube passively streams your favoured and uploaded images throughout the day. Photos are streamed in real-time, wirelessly on a 3 times bigger screen than your iphone, optimized for square photos of this size.   The funky device was designed by D2M (Design to Matter) in the Silicon Valley and they are currently looking into integrating Facebook, so this seems to be only the beginning for Instacube.

For us, Instacube serves as a cool gadget for our reception area, displaying our latest postings on our own handle @eOffice_Coworking. It showcases pictures from eOffice other centres and it instantly synchronises with your account when uploading a new picture. Clients waiting for a meeting in the reception area love playing with this fun digital cube searching for inspiring images of their own interest.
