Airbnb’s New Office – SoMa, San Francisco

Last year Airbnb had moved into new offices located in  San Francisco’s SoMa neighbourhood. The space is over 72,000 square foot, and was designed by Gensler and Interior Design Fair. The space features a series of eight meeting rooms, each of which is an exact replica of the service’s coolest listings from around the world. The office also has a conference room inspired by the War room in Stanley Kubrick’s Dr Strangelove.

The designers spent four months with the start-up in their old location to observe the culture and how the employees function to incorporate in their designs.
