The J Crew New York HQ was designed by Conant Architects. The space is sleek and stylish, clean lines and contrast between black and white ensure that the space looks surprisingly chic for a brand synonymous with casual clothing. A white backdrop allows the apparel giant to showcase its wares to full extent. Conant Architects used the strong bones of the landmarked building to frame various functions of the project including work and studio and meeting spaces.
The connecting space between a new stair and the elevator lobby becomes a meeting and gallery space. A uniformly open planning approach allows for maximum flexibility and natural light for this LEED Silver installation
