John Wiley & Sons is a publisher of scientific, educational and professional books. Their 46,278 square foot office is located in San Francisco USA and spans three floors. The design focuses on the use of earthy colours and textures that give the office an organic and welcoming vibe. It is therefore unsurprising that the main elements of this office are the colour green and warm wood finishing. The atmosphere is somewhat academic yet not stuffy, it is conservative yet modern and exciting!
The design solution places small meeting rooms and a yoga studio at the foot of the stairwell, turning it into even more of an interaction zone. A library and game room, as well as a 50-seat cafeteria, also provide places for spontaneous meet-ups.
