This is the office space of Glem, a company based in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The office was designed by Mareines + Patalano Arquitetura and is housed within a concrete building comprised of several levels. The space has an industrial feel about it, with concrete used throughout. Yet at the same time warmth and excitement is infused through the use of wood and feature pieces such as red chairs.
Details such as the on-site handcrafted bamboo mesh, the translucent catwalk glass, stainless steel handrails that seem to float over the stairs for not being attached to it, and the generous light filtered mainly trough the semi-circle glazing, gives lightness and delicacy to the design.
