From the early outset of the design process it was clear that REHO Travel’s aspirations around their new space presented a unique design challenge for the Spectrum team. Being such a diverse and dynamic business, REHO’s new environment needed an equally diverse and yet unifying outcome. The key to finding this unique balance was realised by working closely with REHO and their unique brands (Corporate Travel, Executive Leisure, REHO Study tours, VIDA travel and Gluten-free travel) to explore ways to unite the teams within the eventual Retail and Corporate space solution.
As you enter into the space, the resulting design experience seamlessly merges the crisp, corporate and somewhat aerodynamic feel of REHO Travel with the exotic, enticing feel emulating from the VIDA travel area of the business. The two distinct environments are unified by a central multi-use waiting/collaboration area. This central space frames the VIDA area and gives presence to the team and the personalised customer experience on offer.
Beyond the immediate arrival and visitor greeting experience the space seamlessly morphs into a multi-functional meeting and collaborative environment. All such spaces are uniquely branded with their own personality reflective of the client’s connection to their unique travel experiences across the globe. All such destinations have played their own special role in the evolution of the REHO brand. The first is the collaborative project space which embraces REHO origins in Covent Garden, UK. Adjacent to the project space and interlinked via an operable wall is the more formal (yet still somewhat playful) meeting environment. When opened up the two spaces come together as a large presentation/event space which supports the dynamic functions of the business all throughout the day and when called upon, for evening events.
