Dutch Office Space

COEN! is a leading Dutch design agency known for its innovative concepts and striking designs. It is one of the leading agencies in the Netherlands due to its innovative concepts, much talked about designs and inspiring workshops. They recently created a new working environment for two organisations – Besturenraad and BKO.  The two organisations plan to cooperate more closely, and in order to foster this, a new shared location was devised.  The aim of this project was to visually connect the shared goals and principles of both organizations.
Because Besturenraad and BKO take care of two types of education in the Netherlands, Catholic and Protestant, COEN! incorporated stained glass patterns, metal grids and special text prints with a message throughout. The relation between faith and education is also subtly made clear by DNA patterns and golden ‘office altars’.
