The Ministry of Defence wanted to create a  flexible and non hierarchical office space, which embraced informal staff break-out areas, informal meeting points and a completely open plan workspace for its 600 staff. HKR were appointed to develop the new interior fit-out, which is located at Walker House in Liverpool. We like how each area is colour coded with bright and modern colours, this adds a flair of creativity without much cost and effort!

The MoD require 6,500m2 of Category B finished space. The four floors of tenant fitout space also comprise a dedicated reception area, office support facilities, training suite and a considerable IT data centre to serve the organisation on a global scale.
