American Automobile Association Corporate HQ

The American Automobile Association was founded on March 4 1901, in Chicago Illinois. In 2011, AAI designed their new corporate headquarters located in Emeryville, California. AAI was tasked with designing the 75,000-sf corporate office, which is located on the top four floors of The Towers in Emeryville. The design goal was to create a dynamic, high energy work space that was environmentally friendly and integrated itself into the local landscape. 

The scope of the project includes private executive offices, open office spaces, collaboration areas, a fitness center, training rooms and an all hands/break room area.  Due to AAA’s aggressive timeline, the project was designed and built within 12 weeks.
